Horses for Sale
Our Trail Horses and our Pack Horses are trained in the mountains where they learn first hand experience with handling a load, negotiating mountain trails, crossing deep mountain streams, logs etc. They also learn trail manners, picket line manners, patience with people and other horses. They are exposed to all types of animals in the wilderness including wolves, mountain lions, elk, deer, bear, grouse, etc. We pack all types of cargo, dry goods, firewood, hay, grain, and animals.
Our trail/pack animals are not chosen for their breeding but for their disposition and willingness to work.
Our horses usually work four out of every seven days and frequently more often depending on how their individual training is going.
